The Bandirma-Bursa-Yenisehir-Osmaneli Higher-Speed Rail Project is a high-performance, reliable and uninterrupted connection investment that will facilitate transportation between Istanbul-Bursa and Ankara-Bursa. The 201-kilometer line will follow the Gursu-Yenisehir route and connect to the Ankara-Istanbul High-Speed Railway with a wye to be built in the Osmaneli area, thereby linking Bursa to the high-speed rail system. In addition, it will pass through the TEKSOSAB and Karacabey rail stations to the west of Bursa and reach Balikesir, enabling rail connection between the two provinces. This project is estimated to be able to carry 30 million passengers and 59 million tonnes of cargo per year, and will reduce travel time between Istanbul-Bursa to 1 hour and 15 minutes, and Ankara-Bursa to 2 hours and 15 minutes.
